“Alluria wines” produces natural wines, that is, commercial yeasts and sulfites are not used. The product has been presented to the consumer since 2016. The annual tradition of making wine of the Machanyan family began in the Alyur village in the Van region.

Our ancestors were vintners, they had abundant fruitful orchards in Van, from which they made wild wines.

During the years of emigration, the family’s wine-making tradition was interrupted, however, after settling in Etchmiatsin, the Machanian elders resumed the production of wine.

Later, the sons of Gevorg Machanyan, continuing the papal tradition of making wine, started the history of “Alluria Wines”.

An aries is depicted on the logo of “Alluria wines”. Aries, like the grapes of Alluria wine, also lives in the mountains, rocks, “finds grass from the stone”, struggles. The logo symbolizes the persistence and wild, pure nature of the wine and our family.

“Alluria wines” is made from the best varieties of “Haghtanak” and “Karmrahyut” grapes grown in the Ararat valley, “Khondoghni” grapes of Artsakh, in the traditional way, with wild fermentation, that is, without the addition of commercial yeasts and sulfites.

We make the beautiful Alluria white wine from the “Voskehat” grape of Vayots Dzor.

The “Voskehat” grapes of our gardens will be ready in 2-3 years. We also hold tastings and tours at the wine cellar, during which we introduce the guests to the process of wine making and the legacy of the Machan family, making them an inseparable part of history.
